These sessions will be lower in skill work and higher in volume / output. Here the aim is to work and improve specific energy systems. Unlike Strength sessions, these are the sessions where heart rate will be elevated throughout the session and plenty of work will be performed at a higher output.

Our philosophy at SDSC is to use lower skill based movements for conditioning (for instance we will not use the Olympic lifts for conditioning). The main reason being to reduce any risk of injury but also as the emphasis is on power output and repeatability, the easier it is to perform the movements under fatigue, the better and ‘non-technical’ movements fit this purpose best.

The Conditioning sessions can be modified to suit ALL LEVELS.
