If price is your main concern then we are NOT the right fit for you. While other gyms and training facilities try to undercut each other with price it also reflects on their lack of expertise and quality of service. We have coaches that have a combined total of over 20 years of coaching and our track record speaks for itself.
We have found that being unable to commit to at least 3 sessions per week often sees slow progress, regardless of how effective the programming is. Before making a purchase please have a think if you can commit to at least 3 sessions per week in order to work towards your goals, allowing for work changes hours, family commitments etc.
1. After completing a free consultation and once the coach has given the go ahead to join the classes, the first months payment can be made via the Glofox app, which will allow you to book into classes in advance.
2. Once set up, the payments will continue through the Glofox app at the same date as that of the initial payment.
3. As there are no contracts, the first month can be seen as a trial and if you wish to cancel the membership before the end date of your first month, please send us an email explaining your reasons for cancelling the membership.
In terms of membership cancellations we would ask for - and be extremely grateful if 4 weeks notice is given, as we are a small business where each and every membership counts.
Also we will pause memberships for up to 2 weeks total per year to allow for holidays, again upon request via email. Please note that this pause is only available to members that have been training at the gym for at least 6 months.
* Please note if you are looking to join for just one month in order to learn the technique for the big lifts, it may be more cost efficient to book a couple of personal training sessions instead. That way you can work specifically on your own goals and targets and make the most use of your time. For full transparency, we want to work with people that are keen to invest in their health and understand that lasting change does not happen in 4 weeks. We are invested in all of our members progress.

An avid GAA player I was devastated when injury caused me to hang up my boots much earlier than I had hoped. Joining SDSC was one of the best things I have done. Dave tailored every exercise to ensure I got strong without aggravating my old injuries. Prior to joining the gym, I could not squat my own body weight without having pain but within a few months I was squatting 70 kg pain free. SDSC not only improved by physical health but also gave me back the thing I missed most about GAA, that sense of training with your friends and having fun. I had tried joining commercial gyms after I finished GAA but I never continued with them. For me, the most important thing is to enjoy your training and look forward to going to the gym and that shone true in SDSC. I also recently had a baby and I'm 100% sure the strength I gained while training with Dave ensured I was able to stay fit during pregnancy and recover well after it. I cannot recommend this gym highly enough.
